I am an amateur filmmaker- community efforts, not professional. Got into 8mm film collection as an effort to create throwback nostalgia in the first short film we made.

That led to collecting some 16mm film, and then the challenge of how to digitize it. I finished my first machine this week (Nov 2018), and am grateful for the efforts and documentation of this forum and community.
