Crazy how cheap cameras are getting. One issue with this with a continuous motion scanner like the kinograph is that it uses a rolling shutter, so it wouldn’t work without smearing. If the film is being held still though, this would be fine. We’re using a rolling shutter camera in the Sasquatch scanner, because the transport is intermittent motion.
