Not a lot of updates here. I’m still focused on developing with the Raspberry Pi for the 8mm version of Kinograph, and looking at options for the 35/16mm.

I’d still be inclined to use a PC and a machine vision camera, as they are a reliable and known solution. You can use the ActiveDCam SDK for USB, Firewire and GigE cameras, and capture at over 30fps.
With the Sensors now under $500 for 2K @ over 30fps, it is an affordable solution.
