Has any one experience with Imaging Source Cameras? Could you share your experience please?

I purchased a DFM 72BUC02-ML board camera about a year ago and it has been an interesting learning curve. The camera firmware has two driver interfaces, one for Windows and one for Linux UVC. The Open Source Python Application demonstrates all of the features made available through UVC / V4L / GStreamer interface. It provides everything you need to create your own application. Currently I am acquiring 5 frames of Std 8 at 1920 x 1080 at 0.5 Hz with exposures of 1/1000, 1/ 384, 1/238, 1/172, and 1/135 for HDR conversion with OpenCv. I’m pretty happy with the quality of the images and am considering updating my lens from 12mm to 16mm to use the cameras 2592x1944 resolution.
Imaging Source application support responds quickly and provides detailed helpful information. I don’t know what information I can give you that would be helpful but am happy to answer questions.
