New Blackfly model (HD only, 1080)

I got a promotional email from Flir this week regarding a new Blackfly camera and thought some folks might be interested. Resolution is only 1440 x 1080 but still a high quality sensor for a decent price. Lens mount is sold separately.

It comes in color and monochrome versions.

This sounds very promising for small format scannning. There’s no point in paying megabucks for a camera that hugely outperforms the optical quality of the original cine camera. Dynamic range, and shutter speed however are well worth pushing the boat out for in my opinion.
