Turns out my office notebook supprts HDR. The images on that wide gamut test page look quite nice with it, too. My desktop display only covers about 60% DCI-P3, which is more than I expected, but not enough by current standards.
This video/workflow might be exactly what I was looking for with my limited setup:
From what I understand, this color space transformation makes sure that he’s working in the largest gamut the RAWs offer, but what’s visible in the end is Rec709.
