Share experience Teledyne FLIR BFS Spinview

I’m looking for colleagues who are willing to share their experiences with Spinview. I’m using a Bauer T502 projector with trigger connected to BFS camera. Running Spinview on a MacbookPro 2019 i7 connected over USB3 to the BFS camera. I’m capturing at 18fps. The MBP has 32GB of RAM that easily fills up with buffered images causing Spinview to stop. I’ve made this small tutorial FLIR Spinview tutorial Thanks for helping. Hans

Hi Hans. I don’t know macs at all, but if there are USB3 AND USB ports, be sure to select a Blue one, as it’s a common way to select the USB3 ones. Depending on your BFS cam resolution, 18 FPS might be way to much for the hub you’re connected to.
I think I read you captured in raw format, if you’re now capturing in tiff, it might be a huge difference for datastream… Does spinview stop when you try and capture in jpeg? (for example)

Thanks @Stephane_LEGER my Mac has the right USB port as can be seen in my Flir tutorial video. I haven’t used this setup for the last months since I do not like the bright white light from these captures (next to the capture problems).
