Stepper Motor Hat

I have been putting off the purchase of Stepper motors due to soldering and frying my raspberry pi worries

I’ve found this Hat for the raspberry pi which appears to solve the problem. Is there any reason why I shouldn’t use it?

Have you considered stripboards? Use them with pin headers, and you will be able to isolate the soldering trials and mistakes. Assuming you have the real estate on your project.

Thanks Majumba. I have zero soldering experience so plug and play is the way to go for me. I ordered a HAT for £10 that looks like it will do the job.

The 3D printer is churning out the parts, so hopefully I will have a working prototype before Christmas.
